Tempus is the EU programme that supports the modernisation of higher education in the partner countries of the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. It contributes to creating an area of cooperation in the field of higher education between the European Union and partner countries surrounding the EU. Tempus promotes the voluntary convergence with EU developments in higher education deriving from the Lisbon Strategy to create more jobs and growth, and the Bologna Process to establish a European Area of Higher Education.

Stimulating Croatia's Entrepreneurial Activities and Technology Transfer in Education
Objective: Main objective of the project is to stimulate structural reforms in Higher Education of Croatia and its adaptation to the conditions of a knowledge-based economy by providing sustainable support to various partnerships between universities and their business environment, particularly stimulating activities arising from the applied natural sciences, by facilitating creation of favourable legal conditions for entrepreneurial activities and technology transfer in Croatian universities, by disseminating best practices and promoting success stories of fruitful cooperation between universities and businesses.

Capacity Building for Research in Croatia
Cilj: uspostava ureda za znanost na hrvatskim visokoškolskim ustanovama, pri Ministarstvu znanosti, obrazovanja i športa i Nacionalnoj zakladi za znanost (NZZ) kako bi se olakšalo sudjelovanje u europskim programima, razvoj i implmentaciju znanstvenih strategija i izobrazbu akademskog i administrativnoog osoblja u novoosnovanim uredima.

Enhancing Absoption Capacity of EU Programmes in Croatia
Objectives:
1. To disseminate information about European programs and funding sources and the Tempus project results towards specific target groups;
2. To develop and deliver 4 continuing educational modules (Project Management module, Financial & Legal module, ICT module, Marketing & Soft Skills module) which help target groups to increase key competences in all areas of international project (IP) management;
3. To improve university/industry cooperation by establishing International Project Centre acting as a training, consultancy and brokerage centre;

Establishing Interdisciplinary curricula and Centre for post-graduate studies and research in Cognitive Sciences in Croatia
Objectives:
1. To study and benchmark best European experiences in organizing interdisciplinary study and research programmes in the field of Cognitive Sciences
2. To establish the interdisciplinary Centre of Cognitive Sciences as an open University department with international orientation
3. To develop a new masters and doctoral programme to be carried out by the Centre of Cognitive Sciences in line with European standards
4. To test and improve the curricula in the national and international environments, to implement pilot interdisciplinary research projects in the Centre
